I discovered this after a gnarly tongue biting 3/4" longitudinally down to the tip. I suffered, rinsed and gargled, then took it easy not to use my tongue for about 10 mins. I thought it would take ages longer, but, a quick check 10 mins later revealed no longer any blood and a scrape that could barely be seen. Roughly 10 mins earlier, this scrape was a line leaking blood, and pulsing.
